These are difficult times that we’re living in. At the time of writing this article, the United States of America has surpassed all other nations in the World in confirmed cases of COVID-19. It’s critical that we come together in this challenging time to help lessen the spread of Coronavirus. Due to this, we’ve made some changes to our systems and processes for a COVID-19 response.
New roof estimates
We will continue to serve as a Connecticut roofing company throughout the course of this virus. As of this time, we will continue to offer in-person estimates for roof repair and roof replacement. However, we will also offer some other options for the safety of our customers and staff:
Video roof estimates through Skype:
At first point of contact, potential customers can choose to have a video estimate. The call will be scheduled a few days out to allow us to get the proper measurements of the home and put together a proposal. We will then email all the pertinent information to the customers and have a video conference with Guaranteed Roofing on the specified date and time.
Emailed estimates and phone consults:
This process will work the same as for video calls. We will email our roof estimate to potential customers, then schedule a phone consult at the customer’s convenience.
Employee protocol
Our office will remain open for the time being, however, the majority of office staff are encouraged to work from home as much as possible. Field workers, such as carpenters and roofers, are still working on the various projects we have ongoing. However, they have been instructed on the importance of proper handwashing and distancing themselves from fellow employees and customers. They have also been instructed to stay home if they feel the slightest bit unwell during the height of the Coronavirus.
It is important for us that we continue steady work toward the completion of our Connecticut and Rhode Island home improvement projects.
